1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and to all interior design, renovation and turnkey services provided by Shri Punith Interior Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website, requesting a quotation or engaging our services, you (“the client”) agree to these terms. A signed project agreement or work order, where issued, will take precedence over these general terms in case of any conflict.

2. Consultation & site visit

The first consultation and a site visit within city limits are free of charge. Site visits outside city limits may carry a travel charge, which will be informed in advance.

Ideas, estimates and ballpark figures shared during consultation are indicative only and do not form a binding offer.

3. Design & approvals

Design work begins after the booking amount is received. We provide layouts, 3D views and material specifications for the agreed scope.

Each project includes a reasonable number of design revisions as mentioned in the quotation. Additional revisions or changes after final sign-off may be charged extra and may affect timelines.

Production and site execution start only after the client approves the final design, material selections and quotation in writing (email or WhatsApp is acceptable).

4. Quotations & pricing

Quotations are itemised and valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.

Prices are based on the approved design, measurements and materials. Changes in scope, design, materials or site conditions discovered during work (for example concealed plumbing or electrical faults) will be quoted separately and executed only after the client’s approval.

Taxes (including GST) are charged as applicable by law and shown on the quotation or invoice.

5. Payment terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments are made in stages:

• 10% booking amount to start design work
• 50% on design approval, before material ordering and production
• 35% before installation begins at site
• 5% on completion and handover

Work may be paused if a payment is overdue, and timelines will be extended accordingly. Material ordered for the project after design approval is non-refundable.

6. Timelines

Project timelines are shared with the quotation and begin from the date of final design approval and receipt of the corresponding payment.

Timelines may be extended for reasons beyond our control, including delays in client approvals or payments, changes requested by the client, site unavailability, society or building restrictions, power or water shortages, material supply delays, extreme weather, strikes, or other force majeure events.

7. Client responsibilities

The client shall provide safe and timely access to the site, along with electricity and water during working hours.

The client is responsible for obtaining any permissions required from the housing society, building management or authorities, unless agreed otherwise.

Valuables and personal belongings should be removed or secured before work begins. We will take reasonable care of the site but are not responsible for items left unattended.

8. Materials & finishes

We use materials and brands as specified in the approved quotation. If a specified item becomes unavailable, we will propose an equivalent alternative for the client’s approval.

Natural materials such as wood veneer, stone and marble have natural variations in colour, grain and pattern; slight variations from samples, photographs or 3D renders are normal and not considered defects.

3D renders are representations of the design intent; minor differences in colour and texture may occur in the finished space due to lighting and material variations.

9. Warranty

Modular furniture manufactured by us carries a warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the period stated in the quotation or handover documents.

Branded hardware, appliances, fittings and accessories are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties.

The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, water leakage or seepage from external sources, termites, unauthorised alterations or repairs by third parties, or normal wear and tear.

10. Cancellation & refunds

The client may cancel the project by written notice. The booking amount is non-refundable once design work has started.

If cancellation happens after design approval, charges for design work completed, materials ordered and work already executed will be deducted from amounts paid, and any balance will be refunded within 30 days.

11. Intellectual property

All designs, drawings, 3D renders and documents created by us remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. They are provided for use in the client’s project only and may not be reused or shared with other contractors without written consent.

We may photograph completed projects and use the images on our website and social media. We will not publish the client’s name or address without consent, and clients may opt out by informing us in writing.

12. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the value of the specific work or item in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

13. Website use

The content on this website, including text, images and designs, is for general information only and may be updated without notice. Some images may be representative or for illustration purposes.

Prices, packages and timelines shown on the website are indicative; the final quotation issued to you is the binding reference.

14. Privacy

Information you share through our forms, phone, email or WhatsApp — such as your name, phone number, email address and project details — is used only to respond to your enquiry and deliver our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

15. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will first be resolved through good-faith discussion; failing that, they will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your engagement applies to your project.
